This 5 Days/ 4 Nights ndia Golden Triangle Itinerary covers three major cities of the country, Delhi, Agra – which is home to a number of UNESCO heritage sites such as the Taj Mahal, and Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan and colloquially referred to as the Pink City. These cities are so cultural and diverse that it is possible to change the tour to fit your interests and the flexible timings.
Begin your sponsored trip in Delhi, India’s largest city. After arriving, settle in at your hotel and freshen up for sightseeing. Start with India Gate, a proud war memorial, then explore Connaught Place for shopping and try some street food—paani puri is a must!
For an evening activity, visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing Mughal architecture. Capture the sunset over this towering minaret. Spend the night in Delhi as you prepare for the adventures ahead..
After breakfast, head to Agra by train or car to explore its Mughal marvels, especially the crown jewel, the Taj Mahal. Arrive early to avoid crowds and capture its beauty—truly a fairy-tale experience!
Then, visit Agra Fort, a historic red sandstone monument offering stunning views of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts. After a day of sightseeing, enjoy local cuisine at nearby restaurants. Overnight in Agra.
The next day, continue your tour with a visit to Jaipur, the famed Pink City.
Drive to Jaipur, check in to your hotel, and relax before starting the tour. Known as the Pink City, Jaipur's tour begins at the iconic Hawa Mahal, famed for its impressive layout and selfie-worthy allure.
Next, explore the grand Amber Fort (Amer Fort), where you can enjoy a royal elephant ride up to the fort, taking in stunning city views. Conclude your day at the City Palace, a beautiful blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture..
Today is dedicated to exploring Jaipur and its culture in more detail. Wake up early in the morning and first go for a nice walk and visit the Jantar Mantar which contains several interesting instruments to mark the astronomical positions. Anything that one can imagine and probably more is made available in such a manner such that when you get to walk through it, it feels like you have traveled back in time!
Stroll through the beautiful and vibrant markets, for instance, the Johari Bazaar that sells a variety of Local Art and crafts, ornaments and bright fabrics among others. Negotiation skills are particularly important here; better polish them! Do not leave the place without trying some of those delicious Rajasthani dishes and flavours. Dal Baati Churma? Yes, please! Evening is free to relax in your Jaipur hotel.
On the final day, travel back to Delhi and Depending on the time available for sightseeing before or after the flight, you can visit Humayun’s Tomb or for a leisurely walk through the Lodhi Garden. Both places are ideal for some final concentrations and moments of relaxation.
If you have time on your hands before heading out, do not leave the place without having some token to take back home. Consider spices, textiles or even some homemade candies to take to relation and friends.
