Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Chennai – Explore the City +
Arrive in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, and check into your hotel. Begin your exploration with a visit to Marina Beach, one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Explore the historic San Thome Basilica and the Government Museum, followed by a visit to Kapaleeshwarar Temple.
Day 2: Chennai to Mahabalipuram – Temples and Shoreline +
After breakfast, travel to Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient rock-cut temples and shore temples. Visit the Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, and the Pancha Rathas. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the beach.
Day 3: Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry – French Colonial Charm +
